So long Swaziland, Hello Namibia

Ous last day in Swaziland.  Henry took the photo.  Everything after this is out of order but time is not permitting organization.  We are in a hurry to get back to Dar es Salaam so we can sell our car and get back home with enough time to catch up with everyone before our next adventure in Colorado.  Chris is chomping at the bit to start his new job.  Weirdo.  And so on we go.

Braving the morning cold at the famous Dune 45

We found this wild beast at Ai Ais Hot Springs in Southern Namibia.

I'll meet you at the corner of Sean MacBride and.....in Windhoek

Chris interviewing for a job next to the highway.  The donkeys were literally braying during the call.

Night drive at Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

Near our campsite in Kagalagadi.  Not sure if it is a dangerous one or not.

We stayed at a place near the Quiver Tree Forest that has 4 cheetahs.  The owner entered the enclosure and the things swiped at him and hissed. Then he invited Chris and I to come in......and so we did.  Idiots. But all was fine. We watched him eat a dead hyrax. Just another day in Africa.

Dune 45 at Sessriem.  A highlight moment in the entire trip.

Lion prints near our picnic spot in Kagalagadi.

Woops. Slow down buddy.

Ever seen baby ostriches? Now you have.

This is the cheetah from the farm. Not at all intimidating.

Baboons and horses at Dusternbrook Guest farm north of Windhoek

I'm glad I'm not a mouse.

Cheetahs do not use their paws to eat only their mouths and they literally eat their pray inside out.  They leave the flesh and fur alone.

Oh yeah!!! We're in Namibia and there is NO ONE around for miles.

The boys earning their keep

In Southern Namibia there are so few man made things it is almost a requirement to stop and take photos of the few you see. Like this car.

Namaste

Look at those eyes!!
