Ol Pejeta drive and last days at the cottage

guava and custard apple (taste just like it sounds) grow in abundance at the cottage in Kenya

Ankole cattle.  Biggest horns ever. Literally! These guys graze right next to the zebras in the conservancy. Of course we're not allowed to eat the zebra.

We bought a 6 lb roast from this place.  Cooked it up for our farewell dinner and placed it on the table.  Not a minute later did the dog (barely 6 lbs himself) pull it off the table into the grass outside.  Chris was devastated.  It was like a scene from a tv show.  What could we do....we had to eat...so we just brushed it off and chowed down.  Delicious!
